Our Staff
Although our program is mainly student run, we do have a staff who helps to regulate the preschool.
Stacie Fleck, Director
Stacie Fleck is our mentor. She is a wonderful advocate and leader. She gives wonderful advice, and is so helpful to all of our students. If you have any questions, she will often be the person you will talk to.
Substitute teachers- occasionally there will be substitute teachers in our rooms. These teachers are often certified in early childhood education or child development; and have a good understanding of the structure of our program.
Advanced Child Care
The people taking this course have been in the program for at least 2 years. Advanced students run the preschool and interact with all of the children. They have experience, and if you have any questions they will always be polite and give you accurate information. It's always suggested that parents get to know the Advanced student who is working directly with their child as this students knows your child best.
Child Care
The students taking this course are interested in learning about child development. Before getting hands-on experience in the classroom, they will learn the appropriate measures of how to take care of the children. They will learn background information about types of education and development of the preschool age to help them plan their lessons and prepare for the arrival of the children. These students will also work directly with the children, but the focus is mostly on honing their teaching skills.
